I wanted to narrate three things: a place, a city and a story. The place is the Folk Club, a meeting place for national and international folk enthusiasts. The city is my beloved Turin and the story is the one that starts with the present and goes back in time to the 1950s, when anthropologists and musicologists found out how to rediscover voices, sounds and instruments in Italy that seemed to have disappeared forever.
